Event Description: |
Hank Pruden will present what are the conclusions of years of research and trading experience have told him are required to become a successful market trader. Much of his talk is included in his new book, The Three Skills of Top Trading , by Wiley Press.
His presentation will emphasize three skills: 1. behavioral finance for system building, 2. pattern recognition a la the Wyckoff Method of Technical Analysis and 3. mental discipline via such tools as the Ten Tasks of Trading.
Of particular interest to analysts will be Wyckoff Law of Cause and Effect. For several years it has been projecting a Dow Jones price target of 14,400.

Hank Pruden is a leading technical analyst with more than twenty years of active trading experience. He is currently Executive Director of the Institute of Technical Market Analysis and President of the Technical Securities Analysts Association of San Francisco. Pruden is also a professor at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, where he has taught technical analysis for thirty years. He has also served on the board of directors of the Market Technicians Association and serves as vice chair of the Americas for the International Federation of Technical Analysts. |
